Well, I have been a bit of a slacker, so a lot has happened. I got a job, mostly everyone knows that. I got released from the bishopric. They combined two wards, so our new combined ward is the Hillsdale ward. Everyone was released and the reorganization is slowly happening. Trudy got called as Gospel Doctrine teacher today, and I have yet to be called. I started growing the beard again, so we will see how long it lasts. Here are a few impressions:
I went to the doctor (because I have insurance again) and was really impressed with the hanging glass flower arrangements in the middle of the foyer. Pretty impressive, huh?
My work has been going through quite a personnel change, so we had a meeting at Monterey and got to eat dinner at the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. Before that, we got to have portions of the aquarium to ourselves before eating next to one of the big tanks. I got to see otters and jellyfish. I couldn't get a real good picture of the sunfish in the tank, one of the ugliest fishes alive.
Several months ago, Trudy and I went to Point Bonita, a lighthouse just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. There was an amateur photographer that took some pictures and shared with us. This tour was a special event at dusk, so there were some beautiful scenes:
